Abstract

|
The aim of this study is to review of occupational therapy evaluation tool for psychiatric patient. The use of standardized and nonstandardized assessment have been followed by occupational therapists specializing in mental health.
This study discussed the parts according to mental health assessment contents: occupational performance, role, interest, activity of daily living, performance skills & pattern, client factor, vocation, community adaptive and integration. Also, to gather information systematically and arrange the information coherently, the assessment should be based on the frame of reference. The Assessment of MOHO(Model of Human Occupation) provide to therapist with concepts for understanding the client’s occupational situation and holistic nature. So this study reviewed MOHO assessment according to methods of data collection. This database is used to identify the client’s need and assets and decide on clients’s intervention way.
There is a need for further study exploring outcome must demonstrate acceptable psychometric properties
of these instruments.
